West Point School of Education offers the course in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education ( D.El.Ed ) The Teacher Education Program aims to train teachers for the schools in the government/private sector in India. The curriculum and evaluation systems adopted by the college are similar to those used in the typical Colleges of Education. Emphasis is given to the development of domain knowledge and teaching skills. They take foundational and experiential coursework to enable them to meet the students with linguistic, cultural, learning and behavioral diversity.

The institute is situated at Kesra village, that is adjoining to Bankura Municipality. The institute is approved by NCTE and affiliated to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University to run B.Ed course from the year 2014-15. The institute is also approved by NCTE and affiliated to West Bengal Board of Primary Education to run D.El.Ed course from the year 2017.
